Milken Scholars Nomination

Description

Nominations will open on October 16th, 2023 for students who meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum unweighted grade point average of 3.6 or 90 in all high school subject areas;
  • Active participation in community service activities; 
  • A record of leadership; 
  • Financial or other obstacles;  
  • United States Citizenship or Permanent Residency or who have been granted deferred action status under DACA; and 
  • Admission to a four-year college or university prior to final selection.  

This year, we are accepting up to fifteen eligible nominations from each school’s 2024 graduating class.  Please use discretion in nominating only the most qualified candidates who meet the Program’s criteria.  Students may not apply without first being nominated by their college advisor.  


We must receive your completed nomination form(s) no later than Friday, November 17, 2023


Please follow these steps in your selection of nominees for the Milken Scholars Program:

  1. Identify the select group of students who meet the Program’s criteria.
  2. Complete the nomination form for each selected student and submit it online by November 17, 2023.  Please ensure that your form has the nominee’s correct email address.
  3. Visit our website for a complete Selections timeline.
